If you have already put extensive hours into the game, chances are you have accumulated credits to buy any appearances you like. If you already bought the game, I’m not sure if investing another 25 bucks is truly worth it. New players can jump right in with most cosmetic features already unlocked. If cosmetics are your thing- and let’s be honest, customizable appearances are some of the best aspects of multiplayer games- then the Celebration Edition might be worth your consideration.

The Celebration Edition retails at $39.99 or you can update your already owned game for $24.99. However, the troubled game has gone through a number of price decreases over the last couple of years, hovering around $20 retail for the standard version of the game. Is it Worth Buying?īattlefront II is in a much better place than when it was released- even IGN was complimentary of the current version. But ripping Darth Maul as Luke Skywalker in his stylish Yavin Celebration gold jacket just feels right. Of course, none of this affects the gameplay itself. This rereleased version also comes with the most recent updates, including the recently released The Rise of Skywalker content, and additional forthcoming updates. With the Celebration Edition, you get 25 appearances, including six legendary 6 for heroes, 125 skins for troopers and reinforcements, over 100 emotes and voice lines, and over 70 victory poses.
